Objectways is hiring a Google Devops-SRE to manage and scale cloud infrastructure on GCP. You will focus on maintaining high availability, automating deployments, and ensuring security across enterprise environments.

What you'll do

• Build and support secure cloud platforms that adhere to strict SLA requirements.
• Manage server and network infrastructure using automated deployment methods.
• Collaborate with international teams to troubleshoot system performance and resolve incidents.
• Design and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts using Google Cloud Operations Suite.
• Conduct post-mortem analyses and document system procedures.
• Optimize cloud costs and ensure compliance with security standards.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and orchestration tools including Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab within GCP.
• 5+ years of experience developing software products in cloud environments with a focus on GCP.
• Expertise in GCP architecture, including microservices and multi-cloud strategies.
• Proficiency in GCP networking, such as VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Understanding of GCP security, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Google Security Command Center.
• Ability to script in Python, Bash, or Go.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP-specific disaster recovery and backup solutions.
