About the role
Obin AI is seeking early-stage engineers to develop and scale agentic applications powered by large language models. You will collaborate directly with our founding team, which includes former Google employees, to shape our core technical architecture and product strategy.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop enterprise applications utilizing Python and React within public cloud environments.
- Partner with founders and clients to convert complex workflows into functional, production-ready AI tools.
- Manage the entire development lifecycle, including backend service architecture and deployment on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Implement systems for performance, security, and observability within live customer environments.
- Operate with high autonomy to deliver rapid, impactful contributions in a startup setting.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of managing production systems.
- Proficiency in Python, React, database management, security protocols, data engineering, and observability.
- Experience working across multiple cloud platforms.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, early-stage environments where you must define the path forward.
- Strong product design intuition and the ability to build effective solutions without detailed specifications.
- Customer-centric mindset with a willingness to engage in client-facing work.
Nice to have
- Background in fintech, enterprise SaaS, or handling regulated data.
- Practical experience deploying AI applications to production.
- Previous experience in consulting or the finance sector.
- History of leading technical projects or mentoring other engineers.
- A degree in a STEM field.
