About the role
NVIDIA AI is seeking a talented High Performance AI Engineer to develop advanced multi-agent systems within the CUDA ecosystem. This position involves creating innovative runtimes and orchestration solutions that enhance NVIDIA's software offerings for modern AI workloads. As part of our team, you will collaborate with various internal groups to integrate the latest advancements into our products.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Create and refine agent-based AI systems tailored for the CUDA ecosystem.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and algorithm teams to design system solutions and incorporate new capabilities.
- Establish reproducible evaluation frameworks that assess performance, quality, and developer efficiency.
- Work across the AI stack, engaging with teams involved in hardware, compilers, libraries, frameworks, and model development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a Master's or PhD is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in industry or academia focused on AI systems development, with a background in foundational models or orchestration frameworks.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with a solid foundation in software engineering principles.
- Experience in GPU programming and performance optimization, particularly with CUDA or similar technologies.
Nice to have
- Experience in developing and evaluating deep learning models, coding agents, and creating developer tools.
- Proven track record in optimizing and deploying high-performance models, especially on resource-limited platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in GPU performance enhancements, supported by benchmarks or published work.
- Contributions to publications or open-source projects in deep learning, multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, or AI systems.
Skills & tools
- C/C++, Python, CUDA, deep learning frameworks, performance optimization techniques.
Practical notes
- The base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and comparable employee compensation. The salary range is $124,000 - $195,500 for Level 2 and $152,000 - $241,500 for Level 3.
- Equity and benefits are part of the compensation package.
