AI Software Engineer

About the role

NVIDIA AI is looking for an engineer to create intelligent systems that modernize customer support operations. You will build tools that synthesize data from social media, web platforms, and internal databases to provide actionable insights through Generative AI and RAG architectures.

What you'll do

• Create AI-driven tools to enhance data analysis and decision-making for customer support teams.
• Integrate and unify data streams from forums, internal tools, and databases.
• Develop RAG and LLM solutions for natural language querying and contextual insight retrieval.
• Design automated reporting systems for engineering, QA, and program management stakeholders.
• Implement personalized data access controls for specific user roles.
• Conduct trend and root cause analysis on internal system data.
• Manage the development of AI-assisted localization pipelines to improve translation speed.
• Evaluate new AI technologies for integration into internal workflows.
• Establish technical standards for the deployment of AI systems.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in NLP, Machine Learning, or related AI fields.
• Proficiency in Python and experience building production-level AI systems, APIs, or data pipelines.
• Expertise in LLM architecture and RAG-based workflow implementation.
• Experience managing large, complex datasets and building analytical reporting tools.
• Strong background in algorithms, performance analysis, and debugging.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Perforce.
• Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience developing internal analytics platforms or data exploration tools.
• Background in applying AI to bug tracking, feedback systems, or customer support.
• Knowledge of semantic search, embeddings, and information retrieval systems.
• Experience with real-time data processing pipelines.
• Familiarity with multilingual AI workflows or localization systems.

Practical notes

• Base salary range: 168,000 USD to 270,250 USD for Level 4; 200,000 USD to 322,000 USD for Level 5.
