About the role

Nuro is expanding its autonomous driving focus from delivery robotics into the ride-hailing and personal vehicle market. You will contribute to the development of our automated driving software stack as we transition toward licensing our technology for passenger transport.

What you'll do

• Design and implement software components for autonomous passenger vehicles.
• Adapt existing Nuro Driver technology to meet the safety and performance requirements of robotaxi applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate our autonomy stack into third-party vehicle platforms.
• Improve the reliability and scalability of our driving software for diverse passenger transit environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in autonomous vehicle software development.
• Deep expertise in C++ and software architecture for real-time systems.
• Ability to work on-site at our Mountain View headquarters.

Nice to have

• Background in ride-hailing infrastructure or passenger vehicle safety systems.
• Experience with licensing software to automotive partners.
