Senior Software Engineer, Sensor Platform

About the role

Join our engineering group to build the hardware and software foundations for autonomous driving. You will focus on the sensor stack that enables our vehicles to perceive the world accurately in real time.

What you'll do

• Design and implement software architectures that manage high-bandwidth data from various sensor suites.
• Optimize sensor calibration and synchronization pipelines to ensure data integrity for perception systems.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate and validate new sensor technologies on our vehicle platforms.
• Develop diagnostic tools to monitor sensor performance and identify hardware failures during operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development for autonomous systems or robotics.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with Linux-based development environments.
• Proven track record of working with sensor hardware such as LiDAR, radar, or cameras.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time operating systems and low-latency data processing.
• Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop testing and simulation environments.
• Background in computer vision or sensor fusion algorithms.
