About the role

Nuro is seeking an experienced engineer to build and scale the infrastructure that powers our autonomous driving software. You will focus on the data pipelines and storage systems required to train and validate the Nuro Driver technology.

• Design and maintain high-throughput data systems for autonomous vehicle development.
• Improve the performance and reliability of data ingestion, processing, and storage workflows.
• Collaborate with machine learning and robotics teams to support their data infrastructure needs.
• Optimize platform architecture to handle large-scale datasets generated by autonomous vehicle testing.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience in software engineering, specifically within data infrastructure or platform roles.
• Proficiency in architecting distributed systems and managing large-scale data environments.
• Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for backend and data engineering.
• Ability to work on-site at our Mountain View headquarters.
