Senior Software Engineer, Performance Tooling and Infrastructure

About the role

Join our infrastructure group to build the systems that measure and optimize our autonomous driving software. You will design internal tools to analyze system efficiency and ensure our technology meets high performance standards as we transition toward licensing our autonomy stack.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain diagnostic tools to track software latency and resource consumption.
• Create automated pipelines to identify performance regressions in our autonomy code.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve the execution speed of our driving algorithms.
• Build visualization dashboards to report on system metrics and hardware utilization.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems or performance profiling tools.

Nice to have

• Background in autonomous vehicle software or robotics.
• Experience with GPU optimization or low-level systems programming.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms.
