About the role

Nuro is building autonomous driving software for robotaxis and consumer vehicles. This role focuses on the infrastructure required to manage, process, and scale the data pipelines that power our machine learning models.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain high-performance data pipelines for autonomous driving datasets.
• Build tools to improve the efficiency of model training and data ingestion.
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers to optimize storage and retrieval for large-scale sensor data.
• Ensure data quality and reliability across the machine learning lifecycle.

Requirements

• Professional experience in software engineering with a focus on data infrastructure.
• Proficiency in building scalable systems for large datasets.
• Ability to work on-site at our Mountain View headquarters.

Nice to have

• Experience with autonomous vehicle sensor data.
• Background in distributed systems or cloud-based data processing.
