Software Engineer, Offboard Infrastructure

About the role

Join our engineering group to build the backend systems that support autonomous driving software. You will design and maintain the infrastructure required to process data and manage operations for our self-driving vehicle technology.

What you'll do

• Architect and scale backend services to handle large volumes of autonomous driving data.
• Develop tools to support the deployment and monitoring of Nuro Driver software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the efficiency of our data pipelines.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of infrastructure supporting our licensing and robotaxi initiatives.

Requirements

• Professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Proficiency in designing and managing distributed systems.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code in a production environment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working with autonomous vehicle or robotics data stacks.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms and container orchestration.
