Reliability Engineer, Intern at Nuro.
About the role
Join our engineering group to focus on the performance and safety standards of autonomous driving systems. You will contribute to the validation of software and hardware components as we transition our focus toward licensing automated driving technology for robotaxis and personal vehicles.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Analyze system performance data to identify failure modes in autonomous driving software.
- Assist in the development of testing frameworks to ensure safety protocols are met.
- Collaborate with engineers to refine the Nuro Driver and Nuro Toolkit systems.
- Document findings from simulation and real-world testing to improve system reliability.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Ability to work on-site at our headquarters in Mountain View.
- Strong analytical skills with an interest in autonomous vehicle safety.
Skills & tools
- Proficiency in software development or data analysis.
- Familiarity with autonomous driving technologies and simulation environments.
