STATION HEAD (SIMPANG AMPAT, PENANG)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated leader to oversee our Simpang Ampat station operations. You will manage daily logistics workflows, lead your team, and ensure our delivery standards are met consistently.

What you'll do

• Monitor the full lifecycle of shipments from initial pickup to final delivery.
• Supervise internal staff, subcontractors, and part-time workers to ensure performance standards are maintained.
• Serve as a hub manager whenever operational needs arise.
• Manage daily cash-on-delivery collections and ensure timely bank deposits.
• Coordinate with customer service teams to resolve client inquiries and requests.
• Oversee day-to-day station activities to ensure efficiency.
• Manage inventory and handle parcels carefully to minimize loss or damage.
• Adhere to Quality Management Systems, OH&S protocols, and GDPMD requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Engage in training, inductions, and campaigns related to QMS, OHS, and GDPMD.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a relevant logistics role.
• Preference for candidates with a background as a Senior Executive in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
