About the role
Nightfall AI is seeking a Lead Sales Engineer to guide the technical aspects of sales for enterprise clients. You will collaborate with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, showcasing Nightfall's platform and addressing client challenges. This role involves understanding customer objectives, demonstrating solutions, and fostering lasting relationships.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Lead the technical discussions in sales meetings.
- Explain product features and benefits to potential customers before a sale.
- Evaluate prospect needs and design Nightfall solutions to fulfill them.
- Present product capabilities to prospective customers during live calls.
- Set up and manage proof-of-value assessments.
- Represent the company and present products at relevant industry trade shows.
- Share customer product feedback and feature requests with internal teams (product, engineering, support).
Requirements
- Over 7 years of client-facing experience as a solutions architect, sales engineer, or partner engineer in the cybersecurity field, or a similar role.
- Background in full-stack development and understanding of software architecture, including how various technologies and systems interact.
- Significant interest in or prior exposure to AI and AI Security.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex ideas to both technical and non-technical groups.
- Strong abilities in teamwork, interpersonal interactions, negotiation, and setting priorities.
- Experience managing the entire sales lifecycle and achieving results in a customer-facing capacity.
