You will design low-latency, real-time microservices that process and identify sensitive data efficiently. This role contributes to our mission of protecting data across various applications and tools.

What you'll do

• Construct highly available and secure authentication and API services.
• Manage and improve critical internal databases and services.
• Enhance and operate high-volume, auto-scaling streaming data services.
• Implement instrumentation for streaming data services to track customer utilization.
• Create and maintain documentation for both internal and public services.

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one systems or high-level programming language such as Python, Go, Java, or C++, with an openness to learn others.
• Demonstrated history of operating scalable systems handling thousands of requests per second (RPS) with three 9's reliability.
• Background in developing intricate software systems that scale to significant data volumes or millions of users, including production deployment, monitoring, and reliability.
• Experience with large-scale distributed storage and database systems, both SQL and NoSQL, like MySQL or Cassandra.
• Capability to break down complex business challenges and guide a team in finding solutions.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale or real-time complex data processing pipelines using technologies like Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, Storm, or Zookeeper.
• At least 8 years of professional experience.
