About the role

Join NewForm as a Video Editor to transform raw content and scripts into compelling short-form ads for social media. You will craft engaging, conversion-driven videos, working alongside strategists and media buyers. This position requires a strong grasp of ad performance metrics and a high-volume production mindset.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Create short-form paid social advertisements, including user-generated content, podcast spots, product demonstrations, and interviews.
• Develop multiple versions of each ad concept, varying hooks, pacing, overlays, and calls to action.
• Adapt videos to meet the specific technical requirements of platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Refine edits based on performance data such as retention rates and cost per acquisition.
• Partner with creative strategists to enhance ad messaging and structure.
• Maintain organized project files to support efficient production processes.
• Keep informed about current short-form video trends, editing techniques, and best practices for paid social.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of professional video editing experience, with agency experience preferred.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating prior work on short-form paid social ads.
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut.
• A deep understanding of video pacing, audience retention, and editing for conversions.
• Capability to edit rapidly while maintaining high standards of clarity and quality.
• Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience editing advertisements for direct-to-consumer products, mobile applications, or SaaS companies.
• Familiarity with the ad formats, aspect ratios, and specifications for Meta and TikTok.

Nice to have

• Experience with After Effects for motion graphics.
