About the role
New Relic is seeking a senior equity expert to lead our global equity function as an individual contributor. This fully remote position offers the autonomy to manage equity operations across the US, Canada, APJ, and EMEA regions.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design and maintain global equity systems and processes.
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and HR departments to ensure international tax and regulatory compliance.
- Manage the full lifecycle of equity awards, including MEPUs and PIUs.
- Oversee 409A valuations and Section 83(b) filings.
- Administer the Shareworks platform while maintaining SOX compliance and documentation.
- Develop educational materials to explain equity compensation to global employees.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in equity administration and accounting.
- Experience working in both public and private company settings.
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reconciliations and analysis.
- Ability to work independently as a senior individual contributor.
Nice to have
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation.
- Experience with Workday HCM and Shareworks.
- Background in scaling international organizations.
