What you'll do
- Design and develop advanced inventory management systems that support various monetization strategies.
- Create systems for dynamic pricing, rate card management, inventory segmentation, and yield optimization to enhance ad performance.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to inventory management systems.
- Proven expertise in yield optimization systems and a comprehensive understanding of inventory valuation.
- Experience in building systems related to dynamic pricing, sell-through rates, and managing rate cards.
- Strong grasp of auction mechanics and experience in developing systems for reserve pricing.
- Ability to design data models, platform abstractions, and public APIs for integration with internal and external systems.
- Familiarity with the advertising landscape, particularly challenges faced by publishers in optimizing fill rates and maximizing revenue.
- Demonstrated technical leadership across multiple teams, influencing architectural direction and cross-functional roadmaps.
- Capability to excel in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and mentoring skills.
Nice to have
- Experience contributing to advertising industry standards (e.g., VAST, OpenRTB) or involvement in industry consortiums or working groups.
- Knowledge of legal compliance and evolving advertising regulations globally.
- Background in Connected TV (CTV) advertising and understanding its specific constraints.

- Proficiency in software development languages and frameworks relevant to inventory management and advertising systems.
- Familiarity with data modeling and API design principles.
- Understanding of advertising technologies and marketplace dynamics.

- Compensation for this role ranges from $499,000 to $900,000 annually, based on market data and individual qualifications.
