Product Manager, Emerging Formats

About the role

This role focuses on shaping how members discover and interact with new content types like podcasts, games, and live events. You will act as the bridge between product, engineering, and content teams to ensure our platform evolves alongside our expanding media catalog.

What you'll do

• Develop product roadmaps and strategy for emerging content formats across all platforms including TV, mobile, and web.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from initial concept and validation to shipping, measurement, and iteration.
• Create strategy memos and presentations to maintain organizational transparency and alignment.
• Collaborate with design, data science, and consumer insights teams to define and track key performance metrics.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure new features integrate into the broader Netflix ecosystem.
• Conduct A/B testing to refine discovery experiences and improve member engagement.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in consumer product development.
• Proven background in building podcast or streaming products at scale.
• Experience managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle.
• Strong ability to drive alignment across diverse organizational groups.
• Proficiency in designing experiments, analyzing metrics, and using data to inform product decisions.
• Ability to work during PST hours.
• Willingness to travel to California offices for team gatherings and key meetings.

Practical notes

Compensation is provided as an annual salary ranging from $440,000 to $725,000. Netflix does not offer bonuses; employees choose their own split between salary and stock options.
