Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Neon builds infrastructure for game publishers to manage payments and e-commerce outside of traditional app stores. We are looking for a senior engineer to own major development streams and help define our technical direction.

What you'll do

• Build and support both client-side and server-side components of our platform.
• Work alongside designers and product leads to conceptualize and release new features.
• Optimize the platform for performance, security, and scalability.
• Produce high-quality code, manage documentation, and provide feedback during peer reviews.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in full-stack development with a primary focus on React and TypeScript.
• Ability to manage projects independently and drive initiatives to completion.
• Experience in a leadership capacity, including mentoring other engineers.
• Must be available to work on-site in our New York City office.
