About the role

Neon is looking for an engineer to expand our partner engineering capabilities. This role involves collaborating with sales and customer success to manage developer onboarding, create customer documentation, and build new features. You will also influence the team's growth and operational standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in partner engineering or a similar customer-facing engineering position.
• Proven ability to write and maintain API documentation for complex technical products.
• Willingness to engage in full-stack product development to address specific customer requests.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of initiatives and deliver results.
• Experience leading projects or teams, and mentoring others.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Seoul, South Korea.
• Fluent in both English and Korean.

Practical notes

The interview process typically involves 4-6 hours of interviews across 3 rounds over 2 weeks after an initial screen. This includes a 30-minute hiring manager screen, a 1-hour take-home project review, and a 4-hour virtual onsite interview. The virtual onsite includes two 1-hour technical sessions (coding/systems design), a 1-hour session with the Head of Customer Success, and a 30-minute meeting with the CEO.
