Senior Solution Engineer

About the role

Join Neo4j's PreSales team to help enterprise customers across the Nordics realize the full potential of graph database technology. You will guide organizations through solution design and implementation across industries including finance, government, energy, telecom, and manufacturing. The position combines technical architecture work with customer-facing responsibilities, supporting everything from initial discovery through proof-of-value and long-term adoption.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Support customers throughout their entire journey, from early requirements gathering to architecture planning and production rollout
• Develop and maintain relationships with strategic and enterprise accounts in the Nordic region
• Collaborate with Account Executives to communicate both technical capabilities and business outcomes
• Create and present prototypes that demonstrate how Neo4j addresses specific customer challenges
• Provide architecture guidance that fits within existing customer IT environments
• Lead technical workshops and small-group enablement sessions
• Ensure smooth technical integration of graph solutions into customer systems

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in PreSales, Solutions Engineering, or Professional Services roles, preferably with enterprise clients in High-Tech, Energy, Telecom, Financial Services, or Public Sector
• Solid understanding of data platforms and database technologies
• Ability to convert business needs into practical solution architectures
• Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• Track record of guiding technical teams through complex consultative engagements
• Capability to lead workshops and technical training sessions
• Comfort managing technical aspects of enterprise sales processes
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Fluency in Swedish and English

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with graph technologies such as Neo4j, Cypher, GDS, or GraphQL
• Familiarity with GenAI, LLM architectures, RAG patterns, or Agentic AI frameworks
• Experience with vector search, embeddings, or semantic retrieval systems
• Background in graph data science, network analysis, or ML pipelines
• ETL, data integration, or data virtualization skills
• Experience working within complex enterprise IT environments
