Join Neo4j as a Senior Solutions Engineer, a key technical advisor for our Financial Services and Insurance clients. You will guide them through the sales process, demonstrating how our graph data platform can solve complex challenges and drive innovation. This role is crucial for accelerating customer adoption and expanding the use of graph technology.

What you'll do

• Explain the business and technical advantages of Neo4j to potential and current customers.
• Lead the technical evaluation phase of sales cycles, including discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-value initiatives.
• Manage multiple client engagements concurrently, handling qualification, technical deep dives, presentations, and solution architecture.
• Build strong relationships with client technical teams and business stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor.
• Design and document integrated solutions, incorporating Neo4j with existing cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-premise environments.
• Stay informed about Neo4j's latest features and integrations with other tools.
• Provide feedback on customer needs and product insights to internal teams like Product Management and Engineering.
• Contribute to demand generation by participating in marketing events and industry conferences.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Travel as necessary to support sales efforts and team needs.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant, preferably in a rapidly growing company.
• Experience with various data technologies, including enterprise data architecture, data analytics, data science, or cloud data architecture.
• Hands-on experience with relational (SQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI is essential.
• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing data solutions in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-premise.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations and whiteboarding.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical benefits into business value within the financial sector.
• Knowledge of the financial services and/or insurance industries is required to articulate the role of graph databases in their technology strategies.
• An entrepreneurial spirit, with the capacity to prioritize, adapt, and resolve issues.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of graph databases such as Neo4j, TigerGraph, OrientDB, or JanusGraph.

• Annual On Target Earnings Range: $200,000 - $265,000 USD.
