Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Neo4j is seeking a mid-to-senior level engineer to build user-facing features for our graph analytics cloud platform. You will focus on reducing friction for new users and improving internal tooling to support our service operations.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Evolve the Aura Graph Analytics user experience within the Neo4j Aura console.
• Maintain the GUI for the Neo4j Graph Analytics App for Snowflake, covering workflows from data selection to algorithm execution.
• Create intuitive UX for graph projections and algorithm settings, including validation and interactive previews.
• Develop internal support tools to monitor Aura Graph Analytics deployments and troubleshoot customer issues.
• Implement the neo4j.design system to maintain visual and functional consistency across products.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and SRE teams on end-to-end feature delivery.

Requirements

• Proven track record of shipping production-quality software.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for production environments.
• Experience with React and modern frontend frameworks like Tailwind.
• Ability to translate Figma designs into responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Experience building API services using Golang, Java, or Python.
• A focus on user-centric design and product-level problem solving.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spotify Backstage.
• Familiarity with graph data, graph algorithms, or data science workflows.
• Experience with Python-based UI tools such as Streamlit or AnyWidget.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Snowpark, or building UIs for Snowflake Native Apps.
