About the role
This role is responsible for expanding Neo4j's presence across the APAC region by developing and managing relationships with major Global System Integrators (GSIs). You will focus on generating revenue through these partnerships, positioning Neo4j as a key component for enterprise data and AI initiatives. This is a foundational position with the potential to grow into a leadership role.

What you'll do
- Create and implement a strategic plan for GSI partnerships in the APAC region, establishing repeatable frameworks for joint offerings and revenue generation.
- Cultivate strong relationships with GSI Centers of Excellence and AI practices to integrate Neo4j into their client solutions and digital transformation strategies.
- Achieve GSI-sourced and partner-influenced revenue targets, managing deal cycles and providing accurate sales forecasts.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including sales leadership, pre-sales, marketing, and global alliance programs, to support partner-led opportunities.
- Train and enable GSI client-facing teams to effectively position, sell, and implement Neo4j solutions.
- Develop metrics and business cases to support the future expansion of the GSI sales team in the region.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, consistently meeting or exceeding quotas for technical solutions, cloud platforms, or enterprise data software through GSIs in the APAC region.
- Demonstrated success in building partner-led sales pipelines from the ground up and navigating complex enterprise sales processes, such as MEDDPICC, with limited initial resources.
- Experience with co-selling and sell-through methodologies alongside GSI client partners, practice leaders, and enterprise sales teams.
- Ability to present to and manage relationships with C-level executives and technical practice leaders at GSIs.
- Fluent English communication skills for collaboration with global and regional stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Extensive knowledge of the data landscape, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), various database types (NoSQL, relational), and emerging enterprise AI architectures.
- Familiarity with commercial open-source software (COSS) business models, including subscription-based on-premise, hybrid, and cloud-native database solutions.
- Proven ability to influence, close, and expand large enterprise deals ($1M+) through GSI-led digital transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of how graph solutions offer distinct advantages over other database approaches, particularly for Generative AI and LLM integrations.
- Business acumen, potentially demonstrated by an MBA or equivalent experience, combined with the ability to scale, mentor, and lead a regional GSI sales team.
