This role supports strategic planning and operational execution within Natera's Therapeutics & Innovations group. You will help bridge the gap between advanced data science and real-world therapeutic development, ensuring initiatives translate into tangible progress. Your work will directly influence the advancement of precision medicine.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with R&D, Product, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams to drive initiatives forward and ensure alignment across departments.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and intelligence in AI, genomics, and therapeutics to inform strategic decisions.
- Implement data-driven processes to track priorities, monitor progress, and communicate clear, outcome-focused updates.
- Assist in the development and execution of strategic projects, including internal planning and biomarker strategy.
- Support external collaborations with pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions by preparing materials and tracking action items.
- Create presentations and materials for conferences and stakeholder meetings, incorporating feedback to refine strategy.
- Address complex, undefined challenges by applying analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- 4-7 years of experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, or business development within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or life science technology sectors.
- Solid scientific understanding, particularly in oncology, immunology, or related therapeutic areas.
Nice to have
- An advanced degree such as an MBA, MS, PhD, or equivalent.
- Prior experience supporting pharmaceutical partnerships, strategy, or cross-functional R&D workstreams.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in life sciences for biomarker discovery and clinical development.

- Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure completion.
- Excellent analytical and structured thinking abilities to dissect complex issues using data.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for collaboration with diverse teams.

Practical notes
- Salary range: $135,800 - $169,700 USD.
