About the role
This role involves embedding within a specific business area to identify and implement AI-driven solutions. You will focus on transforming workflows to achieve significant gains in speed and efficiency, building and deploying these solutions into production environments. You will report to the central AI & Automation team and collaborate with domain leaders.
Key facts
What you'll do
Analyze existing and potential future workflows within your assigned business domain to find opportunities for AI and automation.
Design the optimal future state for these workflows, detailing data flows, agent responsibilities, and human handoffs.
Develop and integrate AI agents and automation processes with existing business systems using approved platforms and frameworks.
Monitor and manage the performance of deployed AI solutions, tracking key metrics and iterating as needed.
Requirements
Demonstrated technical proficiency with command-line interfaces, APIs, webhooks, SQL, and Python scripting.
Solid understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and agent behaviors, including prompting, context management, tool usage, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and evaluation methods.
Comfort working within a cloud computing environment.
Ability to handle elevated system access responsibly, with a focus on least privilege, auditability, and safe rollback procedures.
Strong judgment in both technical and process matters, with the ability to prioritize effectively and communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and vice versa.
Nice to have
Previous experience partnering directly with business units to achieve measurable results.
Hands-on experience with enterprise agent platforms such as CrewAI, LangChain, AWS Bedrock, Claude, or Codex, or direct experience building with model APIs.
A background in product management, solutions engineering, consulting, forward-deployed engineering, or technical operations.
Experience working in regulated industries like HIPAA, SOC 2, GxP, or SOX.

Practical notes
Compensation for this role in standard cost of living areas is between $105,700 and $132,100 annually. In higher cost of living areas, this range is $116,200 to $145,300, and in lower cost of living areas, it is $95,100 to $118,900. Additional components like bonuses and equity are also part of the total compensation package.
