Associate Director, Speaker Programs at Natera
About the role
This position will lead the strategy and execution for Natera's programs that educate healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for the operational oversight of how our company engages with physicians to share important medical information.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and manage the overall plan for physician education and speaker initiatives across the company.
- Create and implement standardized processes and governance for scalable and compliant program operations.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of physician speakers, from identification and contracting to training and ongoing engagement.
- Ensure all speaker program activities adhere to healthcare regulations and company policies.
- Manage program budgets, honoraria, and expense reimbursements.
- Track program performance and report on key metrics to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in managing speaker bureaus, medical education, or healthcare professional engagement within the diagnostics, biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries.
- Proven experience in managing healthcare professional speaker programs on a large scale.
- Solid understanding of healthcare compliance, including fair market value principles and physician contracting.
- Demonstrated ability to establish operational processes, governance structures, and scalable program frameworks.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Analytical skills for developing performance indicators and executive-level reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with physicians and internal teams.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting multiple therapeutic areas or product lines.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com for program tracking and reporting.
- Experience in building or transforming speaker program operations.
- Knowledge of CRM, event management, or compliance systems.
Skills & tools
- Salesforce.com (SFDC) experience is a plus.
Practical notes
- Base salary range: $139,200 - $174,000 USD.
- Total compensation may include annual performance bonus and long-term equity awards.
