Senior Manager of Regulatory Project Management

About the role

N26 is seeking a leader to oversee the execution of high-priority regulatory projects across our digital banking platform. You will manage a team of project managers while serving as a primary point of contact for the Board and Executive Team regarding strategic risks and milestones.

What you'll do

• Direct the bank's regulatory project portfolio, ensuring all initiatives meet budget and timeline requirements.
• Manage and mentor a team of Regulatory Project Managers to maintain high performance and inclusivity.
• Report project status, risks, and achievements directly to the Board of Directors and Executive Team.
• Lead problem-solving sessions to identify root causes of complex regulatory issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with C-level leadership to maintain strategic alignment across the organization.

Requirements

• Master degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related technical or analytical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services project delivery.
• 3 to 5 years of direct experience in department leadership and people management.
• Proven track record of managing departmental budgets and allocating resources across multiple projects.
• Fluency in English with strong executive storytelling and presentation skills.

Skills & tools

• Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, 5 Whys, and similar diagnostic frameworks.
• Ability to manage and reallocate human capital, budget, and technical bandwidth based on shifting regulatory priorities.
• Capability to communicate technical and legal blockers to C-suite stakeholders in terms of commercial risk.
