What you'll do
- Orchestrate the end-to-end management and maintenance of N26's Workday HCM and Greenhouse environments, ensuring optimal function and alignment with business objectives.
- Install, implement, modify, and upgrade software applications and system modules to respond dynamically to shifting business demands and technological advancements.
- Provide authoritative technical support and advanced troubleshooting for Workday, guiding HR and FIN stakeholders through complex issues with decisive solutions.
- Analyze intricate business requirements and translate them into technical enhancements, implementing solutions that streamline processes and eliminate operational friction.
- Configure and manage system permissions, access controls, and personalization settings to guarantee data integrity, user compliance, and adherence to legislative standards.
- Program custom functions and develop sophisticated documentation, including automated queries, filters, macros, and reports, to support strategic decision-making.
- Act as the primary liaison between HR, Finance, information services, external vendors, and stakeholders to oversee database design and implementation projects from conception to execution.
- Compile and acquire complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior leadership, distilling technical data into actionable business intelligence.
- Ensure all system operations strictly comply with data security and privacy protocols, safeguarding sensitive organizational and employee information.
- Maintain a forward-looking perspective by monitoring trends in data management, security, HR technology, and HRIS/ERP applications to future-proof system capabilities.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree as a foundational academic qualification for this position.
- Bring more than eight years of hands-on, practical experience specifically with Workday to demonstrate deep technical proficiency.
- Demonstrate eight or more years of business experience working within Workday teams, either in finance or people departments, with a solid understanding of processes and data management.
- Possess a clear and comprehensive understanding of Workday system administration, including new configuration, ongoing maintenance, and complex troubleshooting.
- Have proven experience working with both people and finance modules inside Workday environments, showcasing versatility across HR and financial systems.
- Exhibit familiarity with integrations and Workday Studio, highlighting your ability to manage complex system interactions and customizations.
- Show comfort with Agile ways of working and using Jira, ensuring you can thrive in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
- Apply process design skills rigorously to improve workflows and solve operational gaps, contributing to continuous system optimization.
- Manage data administration, system configuration, and complex report compilation tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Stay current on security trends, data management practices, and evolutions in HR technology to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of industry standards.
