Senior Solutions Engineer
Job description
About the role
Mozilla Corporation is the non-profit-backed technology company that has shaped the internet for the better over the last 25 years. We make pioneering brands like Firefox, the privacy-minded web browser. Now, with more than 225 million people around the world using our products each month, we're shaping the next 25 years of technology and helping to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies. Our work focuses on diverse areas including AI, social media, security and more. And we're doing this while never losing our focus on our core mission - to make the internet better for people. The Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the non-profit 501(c) Mozilla Foundation. This means we aren't beholden to any shareholders - only to our mission. Along with thousands of volunteer contributors and collaborators all over the world, Mozillians design, build and distribute open-source software that enables people to enjoy the internet on their terms.
We're now seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer (DACH) to support the growth of Firefox Enterprise across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This is a highly customer-facing technical role focused on helping enterprises evaluate, validate, and deploy Firefox Enterprise in secure, complex, and regulated environments. The ideal candidate brings deep technical credibility, strong enterprise architecture experience, and a passion for helping customers solve real-world security, deployment, and interoperability challenges.

Partner with Sales to support strategic enterprise opportunities across DACH.
Lead technical discovery and solution design with customers and partners.
Run workshops with customer stakeholders across security, infrastructure, identity and access management, endpoint management, and workplace technology.
Own the relationship to the customer's technical counterparts during and after the sales process.
Help customers evaluate Firefox Enterprise in areas such as deployment, policy management, identity integration, logging, security controls, and operational fit.
Design and support pilots, proofs of concept, and rollout plans.
Advise customers on deployment models, architecture decisions, and integration approaches for enterprise environments.
Validate interoperability across systems such as single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, security information and event management, proxy and network controls, endpoint tooling, certificates and public key infrastructure, and browser policy frameworks.
Identify and help resolve technical risks early, including application compatibility, certificate handling, deployment complexity, and policy enforcement requirements.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and support teams to provide feedback from the field and influence the product roadmap.
Communicate technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences, translating business needs into technical requirements.
Maintain current knowledge of enterprise security trends, browser technologies, and industry standards relevant to customer deployments.
Support the development of technical documentation, reference architectures, and best practices for Firefox Enterprise deployments.
Act as a technical champion for Mozilla within customer organizations, building credibility and trust with key stakeholders.
Requirements

You have a solid understanding of identity and access management concepts, including SSO, MFA, and federation protocols. You are comfortable working with infrastructure and security controls such as proxies, network policies, SIEM systems, and endpoint management platforms. You understand certificate and public key infrastructure concepts and how they apply to web browsers and enterprise authentication.
