About the role
This role involves leading the IT function, ensuring all team members have the necessary technical support to perform their jobs effectively. You will manage the entire IT lifecycle for employees, maintain critical systems, and contribute to various projects within a cloud-first environment. We are looking for someone who can proactively identify and implement improvements to our IT systems.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Provide technical assistance to all colleagues, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, making sure everyone has the right equipment and knowledge.
- Suggest and implement improvements to IT systems that benefit the entire company.
- Manage daily support tasks alongside contributions to long-term IT projects.
- Continuously learn and develop your technical abilities.
- Act as a third-level support and subject matter expert for the IT Service team.
- Guide and mentor team members to become subject matter experts and fill knowledge gaps.
- Identify and address potential issues before they arise to streamline ticket resolution.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk position.
- Experience supporting both macOS and Windows in a professional setting.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with full ownership of issues from start to finish.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with a modern, cloud-first technology stack.
- Proactive and collaborative, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong interest in technology and a drive to learn and implement improvements.

- Knowledge of networking.
