About the role

Lead a critical team focused on developing the predictive capabilities for autonomous vehicles. You will guide the technical direction and execution of machine learning models that enable our vehicles to anticipate and plan for complex driving scenarios. This role is central to advancing our self-driving technology.

What you'll do

• Guide the design and implementation of machine learning systems for vehicle prediction and planning.
• Mentor and manage a team of engineers and researchers, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
• Drive the development of algorithms that interpret sensor data and predict the behavior of other road users.
• Contribute to the architectural decisions for our prediction and planning software stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prediction models into the broader autonomous driving system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a significant focus on machine learning.
• 2 years of experience in a technical leadership or management role.
• Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of C++ and Python.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Nice to have

• Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• Experience with robotics or autonomous systems.
• Familiarity with large-scale data processing and distributed systems.
