About the role

Monzo is seeking a Partnerships Manager to join the Core team, which builds the fundamental banking features used by millions. You will identify and manage strategic collaborations with reputable brands to enhance our current accounts, subscriptions, and new initiatives like Monzo Mobile.

What you'll do

• Create and execute a partnership strategy that aligns with business objectives and core banking growth.
• Source and close deals with well-known brands to provide extra value to paying customers.
• Handle commercial negotiations and contract terms to establish long-term partnerships.
• Use data and performance metrics to scale existing collaborations and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal departments including Marketing, Data Science, Product, Design, and Operations.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of partnerships from initial concept through to long-term management.

Requirements

• Proven background in business development, growth, or partnerships, specifically within technology, fintech, or banking.
• Experience managing and scaling B2B or B2C partnerships that result in measurable commercial success.
• Strong analytical ability to use data for decision-making and strategy development.
• Excellent communication skills to manage relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to work across functional lines to solve operational, commercial, and technical challenges.

• Salary: £86,000 - £115,000 plus performance-based incentive awards.
