We are seeking a skilled Lead Salesforce Engineer to enhance our Salesforce and CRM solutions that support MongoDB's post-sales operations. This position requires a blend of technical leadership, solution design, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective customer management. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Salesforce development and a modern approach to engineering.

What you'll do
- Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions for post-sales teams, including Customer Success, Support, Renewals, and Services.
- Convert business needs into secure and maintainable technical solutions that align with the long-term vision of the platform.
- Collaborate with business partners, product teams, and engineering staff to refine requirements and deliver effective post-sales solutions.
- Manage integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems to ensure reliable data flow throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Enhance platform performance, scalability, usability, and governance.
- Set and uphold engineering standards for coding, testing, documentation, CI/CD, and release management.
- Resolve complex technical issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural decisions and design specifications.
- Stay updated on Salesforce capabilities and best practices, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Identify and address process and technical gaps, leading initiatives for tech debt reduction and platform modernization.
- Utilize AI-driven engineering tools to boost productivity and code quality while maintaining a focus on security and responsible AI usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 12 years of experience in Salesforce engineering, application development, or technical leadership within global SaaS companies.
- Proficient in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, integrations, and customization of the Salesforce platform.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, design patterns, and scalable solution design.
- Experience in designing Salesforce solutions for post-sales functions such as Customer Success, Support, and Renewals.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is mandatory; Salesforce Certified Application Architect and Salesforce Certified System Architect certifications are highly desirable.

In 3 months, you will
Gain an in-depth understanding of MongoDB's Salesforce ecosystem and post-sales processes, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
In 6 months, you will
Lead the technical design and successful execution of key Salesforce projects that enhance post-sales workflows, establishing yourself as a trusted technical leader.
In 12 months, you will
Become the primary technical authority for Salesforce architecture and complex solution design, elevating team standards through effective leadership and mentoring.
