Key facts
What you'll do
- Create and maintain cloud-based features that facilitate marketing campaign execution, measurement, and ad attribution for Minecraft.
- Collaborate with marketing and business teams to develop web tools that enable engaging campaigns and track their effectiveness.
- Work closely with other engineering teams to refine user interfaces, services, and data pipelines, ensuring a cohesive experience throughout the player journey.
- Incorporate Minecraft's commitment to player privacy into the services and data flows we develop, catering to a diverse global audience.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, along with 2 or more years of engineering experience in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with developing and managing cloud web services, ideally using .NET and Azure.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses and technologies like Databricks or Azure Data Factory.
- Knowledge of mobile marketing and customer engagement platforms, including campaign orchestration and analytics, with exposure to tools like AppsFlyer or Braze being advantageous.
- Background in mobile, console, or PC gaming.
Skills & tools
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Azure.
- Understanding of marketing technologies and data analytics tools.
Practical notes
The salary range for this position in the U.S. is typically between USD $102,100 and $202,200 annually. Different ranges apply for specific locations, such as the San Francisco Bay area and New York City, where the range is USD $133,800 to $219,200 per year. This position will remain open for at least 5 days, and applications will be accepted until the role is filled.
