Lead Product Manager, Consumer Platform

About the role

This senior individual contributor role focuses on evolving the consumer platform that supports all Mindbody front-end teams. You will manage the transition from a legacy monolith to a modern service architecture while ensuring that internal developer teams can build and ship features without interruption.

What you'll do

• Develop the strategy and roadmap for the consumer platform to improve development speed and reliability.
• Redesign and consolidate API contracts to reduce complexity and decompose the legacy monolith into domain-driven services.
• Partner with engineering to establish service boundaries and architectural standards.
• Manage the migration of services to ensure front-end teams remain unblocked during the transition.
• Treat internal engineering and product teams as your primary customers to ensure the platform meets their technical requirements.
• Track platform adoption rates and connect platform performance to downstream business outcomes like conversion and velocity.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience, specifically with platform, API, or infrastructure products.
• Proven ability to modernize legacy systems and manage complex migrations without breaking existing dependencies.
• Technical fluency sufficient to engage with senior backend engineers on architecture, API design, and service boundaries.
• Experience managing products that span multiple teams or surfaces.
• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and navigate difficult technical tradeoffs.
• Experience defining and measuring success for internal technical products.
