About the role
Mindbody is seeking a leader to guide an engineering team focused on cloud platforms and developer infrastructure. You will drive technical quality, manage career growth for your direct reports, and contribute to the broader strategic goals of the Playlist engineering organization.

What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to ensure high technical standards and business outcomes.
- Handle the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial outreach to closing, to build a diverse and high-performing team.
- Manage direct reports by providing feedback and assigning projects that foster professional development.
- Collaborate on product strategy and contribute to engineering-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of direct management experience leading an engineering team of at least 6 people.
- Proven background in building and maintaining production cloud platforms and Kubernetes or CNCF ecosystems within public cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD workflows, including tools like Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or GitOps.
- Operational experience managing incident response, observability, networking, identity, compute, and storage at scale.
- Demonstrated ability to define a technical vision, establish objectives, and deliver results.
