AI & Automation Manager, Business Operations

About the role

Axial is seeking a technical lead to design and deploy AI-driven workflows and internal tools that modernize our private market M&A platform. You will work directly with leadership to identify operational inefficiencies and build scalable, LLM-powered solutions that improve productivity across the organization.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain AI agents and automated workflows using LLMs, Claude Code, and Cursor.
• Build integrations across Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, and Gong to streamline go-to-market operations.
• Create internal applications, dashboards, and copilots to support decision-making and reduce manual tasks.
• Establish data infrastructure for AI, including vector databases, RAG, and API-based tool calling.
• Partner with the VP of Operations and Business Operations Lead to define the long-term AI strategy and project roadmap.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in Business Operations, GTM Engineering, RevOps, or software engineering at a high-growth tech firm.
• Hands-on proficiency with LLM implementation, n8n, Zapier, Clay, or Google Apps Script.
• Ability to write and maintain code in Python, JavaScript, SQL, or Apps Script.
• Experience managing APIs, webhooks, authentication, and structured data.
• Proven track record of leading technical initiatives from initial problem definition to final deployment.

Skills & tools

• AI/LLM: Claude Code, Cursor, RAG, vector databases, MCPs.
• Automation: n8n, Zapier, Clay, Make, Google Apps Script.
• GTM Stack: Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Gong.
• Languages: Python, JavaScript, SQL.
