About the role
Microsoft AI is hiring two product leaders to advance advertiser intelligence within the Microsoft Advertising ecosystem. These roles focus on either Diagnostics or Keyword Intelligence, utilizing AI and agentic workflows to improve campaign performance and user trust.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Define the product strategy and roadmap for either Diagnostics or Keyword Intelligence.
- Determine the appropriate technical approach for features, choosing between heuristic rules or AI-driven agentic models.
- Manage end-to-end success metrics and optimize how features appear across the advertiser journey.
- Act as the primary advocate for customer needs, ensuring product transparency and usability.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, data science, legal, and sales teams to deliver and launch product updates.
- Lead go-to-market efforts to drive feature adoption and measurable business impact.
- For Diagnostics: Identify root causes of campaign issues and build systems to explain and resolve them.
- For Keywords: Develop tools for demand discovery, growth identification, and multi-turn agentic planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in product, service, or program management.
- Experience building digital advertising products, specifically within demand-side features like bidding, budget management, targeting, or conversion tracking.
- Equivalent professional experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of product management experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing the full product lifecycle from design to market launch.
- 5+ years of experience improving product metrics such as engagement, adoption, or retention.
- Proficiency in data analysis, including the ability to form hypotheses and validate findings using SQL or KQL.
- Experience developing AI-powered or agentic systems, including LLMs and recommendation engines.
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams including design and engineering.

Practical notes
- Base pay for IC4 in New York City: USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
- Base pay for IC5 in New York City: USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
