About the role

METRIX IT SOLUTIONS INC is seeking a technical professional to manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure environments. You will focus on the deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of Tanzu Platform for Cloud Foundry and GKE clusters.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Architect and deploy GKE clusters, including node pools and network setups.
• Monitor, secure, and troubleshoot GKE environments.
• Build and update automation scripts for cluster operations.
• Install and configure tPCF environments.
• Resolve platform-level issues within Tanzu application services.
• Provide infrastructure production support and lead root cause analysis for incidents.
• Manage documentation for workflows and data processes.
• Collaborate with external vendors and stakeholders on technical solutions.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in platform maintenance.
• Strong background in Linux administration.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in Master-slave architecture, high availability, and system resilience.
• Experience with Bosh commands and Vsphere.
• Ability to script using Bash, Shell, or Python.
• Understanding of Git frameworks and networking concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications.
• Familiarity with governance and compliance standards.
• Prior experience with GCP.
