About the role

Meta is hiring engineers to develop advanced perception systems that integrate artificial intelligence into our global product suite. You will work on complex technical challenges while collaborating across departments to define system architecture and performance standards.

What you'll do

• Design and implement machine learning models to enhance perception capabilities across Meta products
• Establish project objectives, system design protocols, and evaluation benchmarks
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and provide technical mentorship to engineering staff
• Create original architectures and methodologies for computer vision tasks
• Analyze how machine learning models integrate with surrounding software infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Professional background in Deep Learning, Computer Vision, AR/VR, or general Artificial Intelligence
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Python for building computer vision algorithms or infrastructure

Nice to have

• Background in language-guided vision systems
• Experience with distributed computing or on-device algorithm optimization
• Familiarity with PyTorch and deep learning workflows
