About the role
We are building a banking platform for startups, aiming to simplify financial operations. This role involves contributing to the development of user-friendly products that address common frustrations with existing financial tools.

What you'll do
- Take ownership of projects, actively shaping and building the future of Mercury's offerings.
- Collaborate closely with designers and product leaders to create intuitive and appealing user experiences.
- Work within a dedicated product group, contributing to the development of banking, everyday experiences, expansion, or risk-related features.
Requirements
- Possess 1 to 4 years of experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Have experience building and launching new products, with a strong understanding of user needs.
- Demonstrate the ability to balance competing priorities and devise creative solutions.
- Effectively integrate AI tools into your development process to enhance productivity and problem-solving.
- Communicate and cooperate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with or eagerness to learn Haskell, React, TypeScript, and Redux.

Practical notes
- US employees (any location): $122,400 - $158,400 USD base salary.
- Canadian employees (any location): CAD 115,700 - 149,700 base salary.
- Total compensation includes base salary, equity (stock options/RSUs), and benefits.
