About the role
Mercury is seeking a strategic leader to unify our go-to-market efforts across self-serve, sales-led, and partner-driven channels. You will manage a team of marketers while ensuring our brand narrative remains consistent and effective throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Direct the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for our three primary growth motions, including messaging, segmentation, and execution.
- Oversee and scale a team of product and partner marketers.
- Create a cohesive customer journey and messaging framework that adapts to self-serve flows, sales interactions, and partner co-marketing.
- Collaborate with the growth product team to optimize top-of-funnel performance, conversion, and user activation.
- Work with sales leadership to build enablement materials, including battlecards, playbooks, and objection-handling resources.
- Develop partner marketing initiatives, such as co-marketing programs and joint go-to-market playbooks, alongside the partnerships team.
- Conduct market and customer research to inform product roadmaps, pricing, and competitive positioning.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics to track activation, adoption, and advocacy, using data to refine strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B product marketing experience with a history of owning full go-to-market strategies.
- Proven success managing product-led, sales-led, and partner-led growth programs simultaneously.
- Expertise in developing original messaging and positioning that translates into practical assets for sales and partners.
- A revenue-focused mindset with the ability to use data to justify and adjust strategic decisions.
- Experience collaborating with sales leadership to improve pipeline sourcing and deal closure rates.
- Ability to drive cross-functional alignment across product, sales, partnerships, and growth teams.
Nice to have
- Background in fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Experience at a company that scaled using multiple go-to-market channels, specifically moving from a product-led foundation into enterprise or channel sales.
- Technical proficiency in data tools such as Amplitude, Hex, Metabase, or SQL.

- NYC, Los Angeles, Seattle, or San Francisco Bay Area: $207,800 - $259,800 USD.
- Other US locations: $187,000 - $233,800 USD.
- Canada (all locations): CAD 196,400 - 245,500.
