What you'll do
- Take ownership of undefined, critical product areas, starting with Tasks, Home, and Notifications.
- Lead a significant redesign of the Mercury homepage, determining its content and function as customer needs evolve.
- Establish the unified logic for managing tasks, user lifecycle updates, and in-product alerts.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including customer support agents, to drive user intent through these core surfaces.
- Define the product direction and create a prioritized roadmap, balancing user needs with the requirements of dependent product teams.
- Work closely with design partners to refine the visual and interaction design of key product areas.
- Navigate ambiguity to drive the vision, sequencing, and execution of a multi-phase overhaul of horizontal dashboard experiences.
- Present product strategy and trade-offs to company leadership.
- Translate user data, both qualitative and quantitative, into actionable insights for the team.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of product management experience, ideally with a focus on horizontal or platform products that prioritize user experience.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility, understanding that design and functionality are intertwined.
- Proven ability to independently transform ambiguous situations into clear product strategies.
- Demonstrated fluency in collaborating with designers as an equal partner, thriving on detailed work with stakeholders.
- Capacity to autonomously manage complex product initiatives from research and design through to engineering, go-to-market, and stakeholder management.

Practical notes
- US employees (any location): $200,700 - $250,900 base salary.
- Canadian employees (any location): CAD 189,700 - 237,100 base salary.
- Compensation includes base salary, equity (stock options/RSUs), and benefits.
- Salary and equity ranges are competitive within the SaaS and fintech sectors and are regularly updated.
