Senior Partner Operations Change Management Strategist at Mercury
About the role
This position will be central to ensuring the smooth operation of our financial partnerships and facilitating the introduction of new products. You will act as a key liaison between our internal teams and external banking collaborators, driving efficient workflows and fostering strong relationships.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Oversee, enhance, and manage the change management procedures involving internal departments and our banking and product partners.
- Support the ongoing management of relationships with Mercury's banking partners, specifically concerning new feature and product rollouts.
- Develop internal knowledge resources detailing our partnership structures and establish a framework for internal teams to support new product development.
- Conduct onboarding and training for Mercury employees on any external platforms or dashboards necessary for partner interaction.
- Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to establish scalable reporting and feedback mechanisms that align with product expansion.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to successfully launch new features and expand existing initiatives.
- Work with marketing to monitor changes and communicate roadmaps to external stakeholders.
- Gain broad exposure across various Mercury departments, including Audit and Legal.
- Contribute to the strategic expansion of Mercury's network of financial relationships and the strengthening of existing programs.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services or banking operations, with at least 3 years specifically supporting bank partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and serve as the primary operational contact for change requests related to our bank partners.
- Possess strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Exhibit a highly collaborative nature and a keen understanding of partner expectations.
- Maintain a high standard of quality in your own work and in the work of those around you.
- Consistently demonstrate empathy in interactions.
- Ability to remain calm and effective while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

- A drive to automate tasks through the use of tools and processes.

Practical notes
- Salary range for US employees in New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, or San Francisco: $142,400 - $178,000.
- Salary range for US employees outside of New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, or San Francisco: $128,200 - $160,200.
- Total rewards package includes base salary, equity, and benefits.
