Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Mendix is seeking a senior engineer to join our Governance team, where you will manage identity, security, and usage metering for our enterprise platform. You will take ownership of critical infrastructure while guiding architectural strategy and mentoring team members.

Requirements

• Extensive professional software engineering experience with a focus on Java.
• Demonstrated ability to architect and deploy scalable, maintainable systems.
• A mindset of total ownership, managing code from initial development through production.
• Capability to lead technical initiatives and influence architectural direction.
• Willingness to work extensively with the Mendix low-code development suite.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and deliver pragmatic solutions.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience working with Keycloak.
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
