Presales Solutions Architect

About the role

Mendix is expanding its United States presales division and seeks a technical expert to guide clients through digital transformation. You will focus on applying low-code development, Generative AI, and Intelligence Center X to solve complex business problems for our enterprise customers.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Facilitate technical discovery meetings to identify client requirements and modernization goals.
• Create system architectures that incorporate Mendix, AI services, and existing enterprise infrastructure.
• Lead workshops and executive-level briefings to explain technical strategy.
• Build and present tailored proof-of-concepts and application prototypes.
• Connect Mendix and Intelligence Center X to broader Siemens digital transformation initiatives.
• Design intelligent workflows, including copilots, predictive automation, and agentic AI.
• Explain technical concepts like RAG, knowledge graphs, and AI governance to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in Mendix consulting, architecture, or application development.
• Practical knowledge of Generative AI, including LLMs, AI agents, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
• Background in integrating AI services with business processes and enterprise software.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions to both business leadership and technical teams.

Nice to have

• Current certification as a Mendix Developer, Advanced Developer, or Expert.
• Prior experience building enterprise-grade applications on the Mendix platform.
• History of developing AI-driven tools, assistants, or agentic workflows.
• Experience creating demos that map technology features to specific business outcomes.
