About the role
This position involves directing the growth and delivery of the Mendix and RapidMiner practice within the UK. You will balance commercial responsibilities with team leadership, serving as the primary point of contact for clients while managing a group of consultants.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage services revenue and bookings for your client portfolio, including renewals and account expansion.
- Partner with Technical Account Managers and Specialized Account Executives to identify and secure new service opportunities.
- Serve as the senior services representative for clients to ensure long-term satisfaction.
- Provide input for pre-sales activities, including project scoping and effort estimation.
- Manage and mentor a team of consultants, focusing on professional development and performance.
- Oversee project health across your portfolio, addressing risks and resource challenges.
- Coordinate with Solution Architects and project managers to maintain delivery standards aligned with the EMEA Practice Blueprint.
Requirements
- Proven history in client-facing commercial roles within technology services or consulting.
- Demonstrated experience managing, coaching, and developing professional teams.
- Ability to manage stakeholders at a senior level within complex organizations.
- Conceptual knowledge of enterprise software, data science, or low-code/no-code platforms.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to have
- Experience in management consulting or IT professional services.
- Background working within cross-regional delivery models or matrix organizations.
- Familiarity with the RapidMiner or Mendix platforms.
- Proficiency in additional European languages.
