About the role
Mendix is seeking a content leader to bridge the gap between complex technical concepts and high-impact marketing narratives. You will produce authoritative content for developers, architects, and technical executives to drive product adoption and pipeline growth within our enterprise low-code platform.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Create diverse content formats including white papers, technical deep dives, webinars, video scripts, and executive bylines.
- Manage the end-to-end content lifecycle, including mentoring team members and coordinating with external writers and agencies.
- Partner with product managers, data scientists, and developers to ensure technical accuracy across all materials.
- Develop and execute organic search strategies, including keyword research, topic clustering, and on-page optimization.
- Analyze content performance metrics such as organic traffic, MQL contribution, and pipeline influence to refine strategy.
- Support product launches by creating release narratives, blog posts, and sales enablement assets.
- Lead content repurposing efforts to extend the reach of high-performing assets across multiple channels.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of B2B content marketing experience.
- At least 2 years of experience specifically within cloud, data, developer tools, or infrastructure sectors.
- Advanced writing and editing skills with the ability to explain technical topics to both practitioners and VPs.
- Proven experience translating complex subjects like cloud architecture, observability, and data pipelines into clear narratives.
- Strong understanding of SEO and a history of driving measurable organic growth.
- Demonstrated success working alongside engineers and product marketing teams to deliver content on schedule.
- Familiarity with the modern data stack and cloud security concepts.
Nice to have
- Background in software development, data engineering, or technical editorial work.
- Experience marketing specifically to developer or highly technical audiences.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Marketo, WordPress, and SEO tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush.
- A portfolio of published technical content such as long-form guides or industry white papers.
- Experience using AI tools for research and workflow automation.
