Senior Consultant/Lead Developer

About the role

This role involves advising clients across the Netherlands and the broader EMEA region on technical implementations of the Mendix platform. You will work directly with enterprise architects and customer teams to integrate low-code solutions into complex business environments.

What you'll do

• Lead technical implementations using the Mendix platform to drive digital innovation.
• Assist clients in transitioning to a Human-AI workforce.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, from initial project planning to final customer adoption.
• Provide training and support to partners and clients to ensure they achieve self-sufficiency.
• Promote Scrum and Agile methodology throughout client projects.
• Partner with the R&D department to provide feedback for platform improvements.
• Participate in EMEA-wide Communities of Practice to share technical knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development projects.
• Proven leadership skills gained as a software project lead or within a development-focused organization.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, or SQL.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, including GIT, SVN, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Professional fluency in both English and Dutch.
• Ability and willingness to travel to client sites within the EMEA region.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Mendix platform.
• Mendix Advanced certification.
• Familiarity with cloud-native, responsive, PWA, or native mobile technologies.
• Proficiency in additional languages.

• Salary range: EUR 76,600 - 145,700, which includes an annual incentive target of 20% at 100% achievement.
• Working model: Hybrid by default.
